Who is the opposition?
We are not a campaign committee. We don't have a budget for a fancy website. We're simply a group of Seattle residents who got together to look beyond the campaign promises and learn more about what this $117 million tax increase has to offer. We care about the Levy's stated goal, which is to "support acadamic achievement", but we were so disappointed by the proposal, we felt it was our civic duty to speak out against it. Some of us wrote the opposition statement for the voters' guide and are now posting additional commentary on this website and speaking to the press and community organizations.
