"Little Loser Girl"

In light of the gubernatorial recont, today's Seattle Times has an article about a 1990 legislative race that flipped in a recount by five votes, and then flipped again in another recount by two votes. Ann Goos, who won the second, but not the first or the third count:

"He wins by two, and here I was, sobbing and eating chocolate," said Goos, who was a legislator for an entire two weeks before losing. "The worst thing is you have to lose several times in a very public way. I'll always be known as the little loser girl."
Ann Goos resurfaced here in the Year of the Dinocrats as a member of the astroturf Statewide Steering Committee of (no giggling, please) Republicans for Gregoire.

Maybe she can share some of her Hershey Kisses with Chris.

1. Speaking of "Little Loser Girl"... well, there's now Maria Cantwell and CJ Cregg in a silly way because of what I'm about to tell you:

This morning I got punked - as in PUNKED - by the Gregoire campaign and their 1,001 hackers in which they have the Cantwell phone # the Gregoire phone #. I blogged it HERE.

And now, I get my "West Wing" moment!

COOL! Which life of some miserable aide am I now tormenting in good fun?

DINOCRATS FOR CANTWELL! DINOCRATS FOR CANTWELL! DINOCRATS FOR CANTWELL!

2. Speaking of loser girl - I posted an update to my earlier blog entry HERE. Seems as if Gregoire's people are gonna make 2 'loser girls' instead of one...

Boy, did THEY punk me! And the good Senator Cantwell who will win, I assure you at the very least, 50 percent plus one over the vote!
