Dirty Old Man

86ed at 87:

Frank Colacurcio Sr., the Seattle strip-club figure who has been in and out of prison for six decades, was sentenced to 90 days of home detention yesterday, this time for groping a waitress at Rick's strip club in Lake City.

The 87-year-old Colacurcio, whose first conviction for a sex-related offense dates to 1943, also was banned from Rick's for two years, a condition his attorney called "draconian" because the club is "very much a part of his life."

At least he didn't vote in November. He's probably the only convicted felon in King County who didn't.

1. Stefan,

You realize his son, Frank Jr. owns Ricks, Sugars, Fox's (in Tacoma) and a bunch of others, right?

2. You left out the fact that of the felons whose votes we know, more of for Rossi, of course. I would think that this would make it even more difficult for sore losers to keep beating a dead horse, but alas, no reason or clear thought on this site - as usual. Just breathless accusations bereft of any evidence.

3. name, you know who the felons voted for? Would you trust what they say?

If you were to ask me, I would go, "hmmm, I am a Democrat, so if I said Rossi, it would help our cause, so I will say Rossi, but if I said Gregoire, it would hurt the cause, so again, I say Rossi".

Which side of the mouth would you believe, name? In my case, neither.

4.
The two things these felons all have in common:

1. They all voted for Rossi.

2. When arrested they were all quoted as saying "I didn't do it".

5. In the only reports on illegal felon voting (FLA in the 2000 election) 68% of felons who voted were registered Ds. Most of the felons found so far came from overwhelmingly weighted D districts. There is absolutely no reason to believe that the felons who voted in the gubenatorial race varied from the trends supported by data (not ridiculous extrapolation from one or two persons contacted by a news organization) which is that they voted D. If you have any arguments based on reason, not wild speculation, that might be helpful. But to make conclusions based on a statement in a news article by a single participant is absurd and displays a proclivity to dissemble.

6. Face it, with war criminials and common crooks in charge of the leadership of the Republican Party, it comes as no surprise that most felons who voted in Washington's gubernatorial election voted for Rossi.

Even BIAW is fraudulently portraying itself of late - criminality and the Republican Party go hand-in-hand.

Posted by: name on March 10, 2005 08:13 AM
7. name - you have absolutely no evidence and until you do please refrain from throwing around baseless statements. You have no idea who those felons voted for and no one knows. And we will never no because those ballots are secret. Get it?

Posted by: saxa on March 10, 2005 08:20 AM
8. Saxa, you're taking the troll way too seriously. It's going by what's reported in the local papers, and felons voting RAT is not news. It doesn't get mentioned unless they say they voted repub.

Try a little test...the next 10 reports of political corruption or criminality you see, look to see if the headline mentions party. If it does, it will say Repub...it it doesn't, you can be sure it's Dem.

Most of the headlines, BTW, won't mention party.

9. The felons also came from districts that were predominantly Democrat to begin with. That is why they were registered Democrats. Oh! They were also predominantly African-American districts.

Any theories on that?

Posted by: headless lucy on March 10, 2005 08:32 AM
10. That makes absolutely no sense. It is like saying that everyone in King County is registered as a democrat because the majority of King County is democrat. This isn't the old soviet union. You wont lose your job because you don't belong to the right party.

12. This guy is one and the same fellow and others who with help from the Pierce County elected and appointed officials were convicted of ARSON back in the 70's & 80's (Back Fourty Tavern, Top of the Ocean and various others). DEMOCRATS

Just last year his people were found to have violated no laws in transfering 'bags of cash' to those members of the cabal that sit on the Seattle City Council. DEMOCRATS

Last year the Washington Stat Patrol could not uncover any illegalities when 'investigating' (covering up for) those involved in the Brame situation. DEMOCRATS

Do we see a pattern here yet? If not let me spell it out for you. MACHINE POLITICS rules the day in not only this State but Pierce, King & Snohomish Counties and Tacoma & Seattle as well. The same CORRUPT cabal controls everything in these Counties and municipalities and for as long as I can remember Olympia has drawn their leadership from this cesspool of human depravity.

It has been apparent to anyone who has cared to look that something has not been right in Tacoma for a long time, it was common knowledge that Brame and his entire entourage was in fact ‘filth’ of the lowest order, for City officials and the News Buffoon to deny that they knew exactly what he was is ludicrous. The same applies to the ‘Frugal Gourmet,’ connected people in Tacoma knew full well what the score was long before it broke on the National scene.

This State’s leadership is CORRUPT to the core and by design, although the faces change they have up till this point been ‘cut from the same bolt of cloth.’ The Republican Party has an opportunity in ‘06, given the election mess this year (DEMOCRATS once again) and the CAO to relive what happened on a National scale in the ’94 Republican House take over here in Washington. For the first time ever there is a chance to substantially change the entire leadership of this State. I hope the National Party leadership is aware of that.

13. " Luttrell testified that while working at Rick's on Jan. 2, 2004, Colacurcio offered her $1,000 to go home with him, cuddle and "be lovey."

When she refused, Luttrell testified, Colacurcio pinched her left breast through her clothing, then pinched her right breast."

Not that I've ever been to a strip club, LOL!, but doessn't this go on all the time? Didn't Arnold the Terminator get elected governor because he did this sort of stuff?

Posted by: Not giving my name on March 10, 2005 10:14 AM
15. Actually Chew 2 Arnold got elected despite the mud from 20 years ago being dragged up at the last minute by the LA Times. He got elected because of the corrupt Gray Davis. If Davis wasn't so awful there wouldn't have been a recall for Arnold to have run for governor.

16. Headless Lucy (above) seems to think that the fact that 68% of felons who voted in FLA were registered Democrats is explained away, for purposes of extrapolation to WA, by the fact that most felons came from D districts and, according to her, were African Americans. Her argument on both counts is circular, whether most felons are Ds because they come from D districts or vice versa is of no relevance to the extrapolation of that evidence to the Washington case. Nor is their ethnicity necessarily relevant unless you believe that there is a large discrepancy in the choice of party between African American felons and other race felons. If you want to offer data supporting that contention Lucy please do. Otherwise it becomes nothing more than the now familiar repetition of unsupported cant that Greoire's supporters habitually substitute for critical thought, at least on the felons question.

17. Yet another lovely story of Liberal tolerance gone crazy...
'Bush Rage' Driver Charged in Florida

STORIES
(Man Charged in Rep. Harris Camp Assault•Man Charged With Trying to Mow Down Katherine Harris
TAMPA, Fla.)
— A man apparently enraged by a Bush-Cheney sticker (search) on a woman's sport utility vehicle chased her for miles and tried to run her off the road while holding up an anti-Bush sign, police said.

"He told our officers that he just got mad at her, so he went after her," said police spokesman Joe Durkin.

Nathan Alan Winkler (search), 31, was freed on $2,000 bail early Wednesday on a charge of aggravated stalking (search), which carries up to five years in prison.

18. "I don't belong to an organized political party. I'm a Democrat." - Will Rogers

My first thought on reading this post was "finally, something that won't be automatically blamed on Democrats."

Wrong again. Some of the people here can find a way to blame the Democrats for anything. If the moon were to come out of its orbit and strike the Earth, the last thing through some people's minds would be how the Democrats were somehow to blame.

Of course, the reason we're even discussing the fact that a dirty old man got banned from a sex club somehow escapes me, other than his lawyer seems to be an idiot.

Not for losing the case, but for opening his mouth afterwards. The conditions are "draconian" because the club is "very much a part of his life"? Someone needs to teach the old guy how to play checkers.

19. Machine politics has been the order of the day in Washington State since anyone who is currently alive can remember. The Seattle/Tacoma DEMOCRAT Political machine has produced most of the absolute filth that has run this State since the 60’s. I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due, it seems apparent to me that the reason that this State is in the shape it is in is because of its hellish leadership. Since it is DEMOCRATS who have been running things, why is it unreasonable hold them responsible?

I suspect Dan Evans, John Spellman and Slade Gorton, among others, would be surprised to learn that they were part of the "Seattle/Tacoma DEMOCRAT Political machine" and "the absolute filth that has run this State since the 60’s." Every day I learn something new from the folks at this blog.

22. Although you can pick out a few that don't fit the pattern....are you saying that this region has not been effectively under the control of a hard core left wing cabal that has contenenced such things as not seriously prosecuting such things as the ARSON (there's that word again) of a Boeing employees home in the Buckley area a few years back? The connection to UNION BOSSES was made, but I remember non of the same serving prison time. Can you say RICO, or do you even know what it means? Every time there is Union corruption being protected by politicians it you can bet your a$$ that there is a connection provided by organized crime.

What is more I will go on record as saying that I beleive Pierce County's attempted smoking ban was influenced by tribal money finding it's way...if you have lived here as long as I have, you know the rest of the story.

I will also go so far as to say: EVERY ONE in Tacoma/Pierce County in a position to know about Brame either DID KNOW or didn't want to know. It was that transparent.

I could go on for days, need I. Politics in this region is under control of a Political Machine that has put utterly corrupt and incompetent political appointments in place in damn near every Agency and cost taxpaying residents untold dollars.

They are scared to death that Dino, once in office, will clean house and the light of truth will shine brightly on much more that is being covered up within the beaurocracy. He will, and all I have to say is it is about time.

That, my friends, is why the Democrats are terrified and pulling out all stops to prevent that.

23. Speaking of Colacurcio, I decided to check and see if he (Frank) voted in King County. He did not. But look at what I did find:

COLACURCIO JANUARTY L 344e 36TH AVE W SEATTLE Abs Y - 2004
COLACURCIO JANUARY LEE 344e 36TH AVE W SEATTLE - - - 1994

Just shows how screwed up King County Elections is. "January Lee Colacurcio" (sounds funny, but I will assume that is her real name) registers to vote in 1994. Fine enough.

In 2004, she fills out an absentee ballot application -- which is actually a voter registration form (all voters have to fill out this form, even to change your address). Instead of changing the ballot status of the existing voter registered in 1994, KC Elections registers her again in 2004 as a "new" voter -- but under the misspelled name of "Januarty L Colacurcio".

Thanks to KC Elections, Ms. Colacurcio is now registered twice at the same address in King County. Fortunately, she only voted once in November. But she could have easily gone to the polls, and cast another ballot under her correctly spelled name after mailing in her absentee ballot.
