Volunteers Needed
I'm doing a small research project looking at certain King County Elections documents later this week and I could use a little help. If anybody would like to join me in the Elections office for a few hours this week (most likely Friday morning) to go through some documents to help further our understanding of election procedures and how they broke down last November, I will be grateful (as will your fellow Sound Politics readers, I'm sure). Please e-mail me and we'll work out the details --

Even if you don't have time this week, but might be available for a few hours during business hours for a similar project at a later time, please let me know. Thank you!
UPDATE: We have enough volunteers for this week's project, but there are likely to be additional projects later. Thanks to everybody who offered to help!

1. Can't this fri Shark, but email me anytime that you need help going through the mess at King County. We will clean this mess up with or without the legislature in this state.
2. I'm curious. Nicole Way testified that there may be more uncounted ballots, as they did not do a complete and thorough search of the envelopes and stopped looking when they found 92. Is there any effort in place to go back and look through all the envelopes to find more uncounted ballots? I'd be curious to see how many more would be discovered, and what precincts those ballots are from.
3. Hey Steffy this is great. You right wing traitors spend all your free time like this. How pathetic. Your handpicked republican judge in a republican county with the help of a republican AG and Sec of State said YOU LOOOOSE. Yet you can't let go. I almost ALMOST feel sorry for you LOOOOSERS! HE HE!
4. DNFTT
5. Behold the left, above, in all its glory.
And they wonder why the ranks of the Republican Party are increasing, day after day, week after week, across the country, and now finally here in Washington State.
We don't want to stop their lunacy (see: Howard Dean). If anything, we want to give them a microphone and shine the spotlight straight on them. Post away, Lush! You do more good for our cause than you could possibly know.
6. From the dazzling intellect displayed by Lush Flimbaugh, I can only conclude that he/she is a Democrat campaign strategist. You go girl! (boy?)
7. Lush Flimbaugh
Reading your post reminded me that pre-school was out.
8. The Times reported that the total number of valid uncounted ballots in King county was 118. Has anybody followed up on that? The last count reported at trial was 96. How did it jump to the number reported? If true, how interesting that the public only learns of this after the trial.

10. Stefan, I shot you an e-mail, I can be available probably after 9:30.
11. Lush says "Hand Picked Republican Judge", BS. I suppose he believes like many of his liberal friends that this judge was voted in by a conservative base.
Well Bridges grew up in Chelan County. He was appointed to the bench by Democratic Gov. Booth Gardner in 1988 – the same year Gardner appointed a lawyer named Christine Gregoire to be his Ecology Department director.
Hand Picked Republican Judge..... BS!
12. The GOP picked the venue. That is an uncontrovertable fact. Anyone who says different is lying or stupid. Since Chelan Co. is the most consistently GOP voting County in WA, Chris Vance "hand-picked" that venue. He counted on the judge leaning right. And since Bridges stands for election IN REPUBLICAN CHELAN COUNTY, one can hardly call him the LIBERAL CHOICE.
And you didn't bother to refute the fact that Vance got help from the GOP AG and SEC of STATE. That's why you guys look so stupid here. You had the deck stacked and YOU STILL LOST! ON EVERY SINGLE POINT! POINT BY POINT for an hour, Judge Bridges methodically shot down EACH and EVERY claim you right wing crybabies made. It was a total and UTTER loss.
Face it. You lost. You're crybabies. You're punks. Get over it or get out. In fact, just get out.
13. So, scott...
How do you really feel about it all? Perhaps you could really demonstrate your disgust and anger if we all sit down together here with a big glass of Kool-aid, or something...
14. Nope sorry, all 6 of me are staying, but this time all 6 of us are registering and voting in King County.
15. Just keep it up, Scott. Just like the rest of some of the more obnoxious lefties who act all brave on a conservative board.
Keep it up.
16. Hey Scott
At least the judge does not make law from the bench. He looks at the laws on the books and then tries to follow what they say. The laws themselves are to blame. The judge is an honest Judge more than I can say for a lot of KC judges. It takes a lot to have both honesty and Integrity. Just go back and read his findings. He said over 1700 illegal votes were counted in the election. SO it proves that KC stoled the election. It is not my fault or the judges fault the the laws in this state do not allow proportional deduction. Remember it is the Demcrats that cheat at elections and violate election rules. Look at the fine they have to pay. IF you cheat too much you start loosing support. People will remember this election and Democrats will pay for cheating. Maybe we can get a Republican Senator again after you guys stoled that election. I saw a lot of the data I think that maybe 5000 to 10000 illegal votes were cast. It just proves the only way Republicans are to win is to win with ideas and take 60% of the vote. You can not steal the election then. I guess you can be proud of stealing elections. KC now joins CHicago for Election funny business. Maybe we can get the feds to investigate KC and really through some of those people in Jail. WIsconsin is having exactly the same problems as KC. I wonder how two states so far apart have identical problems. Once the Wisconsin case is done the feds will know what they are looking for and can really clean house. If you use the same play book you can eventually be take down for illegal activies. The court case could only show the tip of the iceberg of voter fraud. I hope we can continue to dig and show more fraud so that the Feds will have to act. Politicians can not protect stealing elections forever. If we get lucky and take back both the house and the Senate maybe we can get true voter reform enacted. Clean up the rolls and have an honest election. Democrats are against it I wonder why? Are they too scared to win in the arena of ideas? They just steal the elections because that is all they know how to do. SPend money support your local Union, Support any expenditure but roads, Support Mass Transit at the expense of roads. Cut funding for Parks. Cut funding for audits, cut funding for police and fire departments. Give government union raises and not the non union members. Smart idea Oh yea dont give teachers raise but give government employee raises. The voters voted for pay raises for teachers not government empolyees. Democrats are tax and spend and fill their pockets. I wonder how much State money is in Switzerland. They act like tin horn dictators so they must have bank accounts overseas to protect themselves from a Revolution. Here the revolution can be at the ballot box. Democratic party is run by special interests. IT is run by several special Big businesses. Eventually the truth will come out. I can not wait for a true independent audit of all Government Agencies. An audit where politicians do not control what is looked at.
17. Whatsa matter Lush? Afraid Stefan's gonna find out even more dirt on KCE?
18. Scott is right. The right wing set this election up thinking they had a surefire win and they had the misfortune of running into the lone honest republican judge in the state.
Who cares about the following blame game? It's a typical republican pursuit. Find SOMEONE - ANYONE to persecute or prosecute. Have fun. Too bad it won't get your guy into the Governor's office! That is all!
19. I just started posting but I have to say that this site (and Steffen) have been a beacon of honesty during this entire travisity they call an election. I have followed it carefully and have many of my co-workers thanking me for the truth they are getting from this site. Keep it up.
There is no way to reason with the liberals like Flimflam man. He will deny, deny, deny wrong doing and then decry the R's for saying it smells rotten in King County. Well let me say this. For every one person who is outraged and is active in these blogs there are 50 silent fumers who have vowed to get even in the fall. I know because I talk to people and the masses are outraged. I myself am sick of hearing the crowing of the democrats saying that the election contest proved nothing was wrong and that the Judge agreed because he shot down every claim of the Republicans. These people know nothing about the law or about our justice system. Well, I do know. I am a paralegal and I have worked in the justice system for the past 16 years. Judges do not make the law they interpret it. Although I disagree with the findings of Bridges, he did follow the law as it is written. (Emphasis on the "how it is written") I also believe that there were some misjudgments made by the Republicans in the case strategy. But hindsight is golden. We need to look to the future.
I believe that one of the things that needs to be done is ensure that every political race in this state has a republican canidate. I know that some of these liberal hanger-oners keep getting elected because nobody shows up to challenge them. A perfect example is Hans Dunshee in Snohomish. The idiot's campaign consists of standing on the on ramp of I-5 at Hewitt and waving to people. He gets elected with only a few thousand votes. When I e-mailed him to complain about certifying the election, he never bothered to respond. Oh sure and he says he is for the people. How can you be for the people and ignore the people who are trying to engage you in dialog? We need to work on getting these leeches out.
Remember Flimflam...he who laughs last, laughs best. I will be there to laugh this fall and in 2006. Now the Democrats have really @#$?^&^ people off and they will pay at the polls.
