I'll be co-hosting Republican Radio this Saturday 11am - 1pm. Listen on these fine stations around the Northwest and on Internet streaming audio.
I'll be off most of the weekend. Blogging will be light. I'll be back by Tuesday with an exclusive report on absentee ballot fraud at a Snohomish County nursing home!
Have a good weekend. Eat grilled meats. Watch some fireworks. Drive safely. Re-read the Declaration of Independence.
'Tis a time for reflection--for those who have given us this dream we call freedom...
Being a Sno-"Ho" (no--no rap intended) resident, I will be eager to see this...
Posted by: Jimmie-howya-doin on July 1, 2005 10:25 PMI was blessed with a wife who was born on the "Fourth of July" and every year we share her birthday with the pride and joy we have for our great country.
I also want to say to all the great Americans, who post with the same love for our country on SP, may god bless you and yours as well.
I hope everyone has an awesome "4th of July".
Happy 4th to you both and your families!

We're off to enjoy our own grilled meat, fireworks, and family! We attend a traditional extended family event, for over thirty years now. Although it shouldn't be "cool" with our teenagers, they love it to pieces.
Waiting to hear about Snohomish County, is that what you needed volunteers for last Friday?...inquiring minds have been wondering.
Happy, happy 4th everyone!!!
Posted by: dl on July 2, 2005 08:06 AMSeriously - I hope y'all get out and enjoy the Fourth of July - the celebration of America's independence from dictatorial rule.
We've ordered up some Western Washington weather just for the occasion ;'}

As always, I’m amazed by the resiliency of a system that has been and continues to be so badly abused by liberal scoundrels, some with intent to destroy it, and I am equally amused by the shallow silliness of their justifications for attempting to do so at their own peril.
If any of them would simply read their history in earnest they would find out what being a “liberal” used to mean and what it cost to be one. Nowadays conservatives must carry that standard and bear the burdens placed by the ignorance and deliberate stupidity of liberals.
Stefan, thanks for all of your efforts and a place and opportunity to express interest in the spirit that July 4th commemorates. You stand tall in my book.
God bless.
At one point he says (paraphrase) "This year, with its draught, we have to....). Now I turn and look out the window to see the rain falling on some very green grass & soggy lawn furniture and have to laugh.....Fraudoire strikes again!
Posted by: alphabet soup on July 2, 2005 12:58 PMThen back to the fight to restore the republic.
Posted by: JCM on July 2, 2005 03:31 PMAs for our ever-vigilant patriots in the military, THANK YOU & your Families--and God Bless now & always!
Posted by: Jimmie-howya-doin on July 3, 2005 07:28 AMHeaded out to Fox Island now to the in-laws to enjoy some grilled meats, the sun, water and beauty of Washington. (Must enjoy it, until, well, at least until their property is deemed a wetland and taken away from them by Pierce County.)
Happy Fourth to all SPers.
