A message from the systems administrator

Comments are broken at the moment. Investigating...

In technobabble, the Movable Type comments database files (Berkeley DB) appears to have been corrupted as a result of a "disk full" situation. It looks like any newly posted comment is stored, and that all of the old comments are still intact, but the index is screwed up and all comments from any entry where a comment that was posted after the disk problem cannot be retrieved at the moment. I'm exploring how to repair this, but it might take a little while. Anybody who has dealt with this problem before is invited to send me their advice. Feel free to post your suggestions in the comments, I will receive them by email, even if they won't be visible to readers right away.

2. Those darn Democrats must be at the bottom of this!

I suggest a full investigation.
