The Future Awaits
Good news! Seattle gets its very own Big Dig! I like the privatization angle.

1. The real funny part is, that to most liberals, this is their vision of the future. But then again, they probably liked the part about spending 20 times the monorail.
2. Satire is so wasted on you people.
3. Actually Ivan, I'm a big fan of good satire as well as those folks who unknowingly satirize themselves. Why do you read posts you know you won't agree with and then feel compelled to comment on how stupid the majority of SP posters are? Does it make you feel smarter than the rest of us? Please be aware the official liberal policy is to know you're smarter than everyone else, discuss how smart you are amongst your political kindred, but don't let the masses know how much better than us you are so we don't get uppity and vote the elites out of office for some yokel.
I think you are aware that that's what happened in 2000, Gore was just not good enough at hiding how much smarter he is than the average citizen, the red states didn't like having it pointed out that they're stupid, and so they elected GW Bush. I would have thought that event would have taught you a lesson, but here you are on SP repeating the failed policies of the past. Typical Lib.
4. The writer forgot the part where Paul Allen invests .00000000001% of his profits off real estate appreciation on the Big Dig into a new set of teeth!!
I still have nightmares about his rotting, yellow teeth grinning on National TV after they won that playoff game. Uggggh!
5. and oxygen is so wasted on you iban.....
6. Well, I knew it wasn't real by the fact it was only 2013 when he was writing that -- not enough time for the design+build of a project that big :) Tht's ONLY 8 years from now, insignificant in time!
However, I think he hasn't been in the buses with the advertisement if h thinks tht they are painting over the windows.
I've been inside these Metros -- you can't tell from the inside that they HAVE an advertisement on the outside unless you're looking for it even though from the outside it appears like th windows are painted over.
