Deanron still hasn't budged from his intransigent defiance of the Public Disclosure Act. The transaction log records I requested more than five months ago are still being held hostage (more details here and here).
Thanks to everybody who has sent contributions by PayPal or check in the last few days to support my impending legal action against King County to compel disclosure of these records. I'm honored and encouraged that so many are joining in this effort to hold our government accountable. Unfortunately, Deanron has the taxpayer-funded legal services of Prosecuting Attorney Norman Maleng's office to help him evade disclosure, we have to advance our own money out-of-pocket to defend our rights. Please do what you can to help. Freedom isn't free, but it's less expensive than the alternative.
In the meantime, while the next phase of Sharkansky v. King County is being prepared, I've sent comprehensive records request to the Auditors of Pierce and Snohomish Counties (both received a letter like this one) --
Neither county has been scrutinized as closely as King County has, but now that I know what files to ask for and where the bodies might be buried, it only makes sense to see how well the other large county election offices have been performing. Indeed, I have good reason to be curious, particularly with respect to Snohomish County.
Back in December 2004, I requested "a list of all Snohomish County voters who submitted ballots in the Nov.2, 2004 election" including "an indication whether the ballot was accepted or rejected". What I got back was a post-election list of registered voters with "credits". It was not a list of all voters who submitted ballots. [e-mail correspondence here] Silly me, I didn't know enough then to push back that what they issued was not responsive to my request and to insist that they provide the responsive documents. Now I know more. With the close election in the Marysville levy, and the county's move to mail-only voting, this is a good opportunity to scrutinize the Snohomish County elections records to see how well that office has done its job.

Don't F*CK with Stefan!!!
I believe Logan may be on the hook for "PERSONAL LIABILITY" in his failure to respond on this Records Request.
Is "Sideshow Bob" also willing to risk his personal assets to protect his inflated ego???
Remember, half of Deanron hails from here!
