This file of documents was released by Jefferson County pursuant to a records request regarding some suspected cases of double voting.
Two individuals, Tami Mathias and Phineas Porter were recently discovered to have voted in both Jefferson County and in a second county (King and Snohomish, respectively) in 2004. Repeat voting is a Class C felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. But instead of filing charges as appears to be required by state law, Prosecutor Juelie Dalzell let these double voters off with a lame-ass warning letter. The letter says that "Voting twice will not be tolerated", but tolerated is exactly what Dalzell did. I guess that means that everybody is allowed one turn to double-vote up there in Jefferson County. At least the redundant registrations have been cancelled.

I think American women should be lining up with their presidential kneepads on to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs."
