"Murray says he'll run for state Senate"

Democratic Rep. Ed Murray of Seattle said today he's leaving the House to run for the state Senate.

Murray represents District 43, which includes Capitol Hill, Wallingford and parts of Fremont. He's running for the Senate seat in his district currently held by Sen. Pat Thibaudeau, D-Seattle.

1. Hey, anything that wastes D money on an unnecessary primary, I'm for.

It's not like their voting records will be any different. Not in that district.

2. Actually, this is a good thing. That old cow needs to be turned out to pasture.

She was one of the major blockers of the Shared Parenting bill this year. Went down to hug the wimmin's industries DV divas after they testified against parent's (both of them) civil right to have continuing, substantial contact with their kids after divorce.

At least Ed believes in civil rights.

3. Geezer beat me to it.

TIBBY IS BAD NEWS- you cannot find worse.

During testimoney AGAINST shared parenting, she came down and HUGGED the opposition. I'm not kidding, it was shameless.

She left the room when those wanting shared parenting were testifying (we filled the room with Non-custodial parents who want more time with their kids)

This woman is as anti-family as it gets.

4. One aging queen replacing another, either way it will not help the people of the 43rd.
