Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt, best remembered as the chief military spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, will be speaking in Seattle on May 24. His topic will be long term planning for the Global War on Terrorism.
The talk is sponsored by the World Affairs Council, a local group that sponsors foreign policy-related events. They featured then-National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice two years ago, which Stefan mentioned here. The WAC is generally free of the moonbattery that infects so many of the non-profit institutions in the region. I encourage everyone to learn more about them and to support their work.
