This is the fiscal note to Deanron's forced mail-voting proposal. The price for forcing us to change our habits and vote the way Deanron thinks we're supposed to vote starts at $3 million through 2008. That includes $784,000 for "outreach and education" a propaganda campaign. Given that Ron Sims has a track record for fabulous cost overrruns, it is fair to assume this is only the beginning.

Democrat constituencies are beside themselves with indignation regarding this and calling for prosecution and punishment befitting the crime.
Politicians have managed to p*ss trillions of social security $ down a rat hole and mismanage the investment of that part of the funds they haven’t disbursed to their friends, business associates and family members or used to buy votes with and these same constituencies are not insisting on theft, fraud, embezzlement etc. etc. etc. charges and prosecution.

As you know, Oregon has all-mail-in elections. Luckily, our county clerk appears to be non-political, but is a newby, so might be bamboozled by flimflammery.
What should I look for? What questions should I ask? I'll get plenty of support from half of my fellow poll watchers, if we ask the right questions. Recount will be next week, so there's not much time.
I look to The Shark as the primary expert on this site, but I recall others who have posted here have lots of good experience as well.
Please email me, or answer in this space. Thank you very much.

Right now, it seems like Saxton is within striking distance of Teddy K. If it happened to end up as close as the 2004 Governor's election here, how would it be handled in Oregon ?
