AP article in Sunday's Seattle Times: "Tempted to pad your resume? Don't"

Posted by Stefan Sharkansky at July 10, 2006 10:15 AM | Email ThisAt first glance I did not understand why the article on padding your resume was posted, since it's old news and the State of Washington enacted a law the Spring of 2006 making it a crime
This month I'm more concerned with shoddy background checks being performed by Intellisense of Bothell, WA and doing the annual review of your credit report to see if TRW/Experian/et al have exceeded the more than one person mistake they average
Then I looked at the title
My gut feel is that politicians and folks running for office are exempt from the lying on the resume law
Posted by: Green Lake Mark on July 10, 2006 01:27 PMWhat was quite amazing was watching Darcy lie her ass off in the interview. There was a sure fire way to tell she was lying... Her lips were moving.
Her only positive point was that everyone was "nice" to her at the Carnation parade. All that shows is that the rest of the county practices respect, something the leftys in Seattle have no concept of.
Posted by: Truth Detector on July 10, 2006 03:45 PMRegarding the resume padding article, the saddest commentary was how the author warned that "if you are caught" your career could be ruined.
Conversely, I guess if you're not caught, your career could take off? And what about good old cmmandment no. 5, "Thou shall not lie?"
Posted by: Organization Man on July 10, 2006 05:46 PMLet liberals do their thing. Let em continue to lie without any basis, let em continue to lie accusing their enemies of lying without the slightest evidence, let em continue to say insane things that make no sense because the content is completely insane, and let em continue to call themselves compassionate because they have no brain and all they have left is blind hate and inane slobbering.
The Democrat Party used to be something (snerk).
Liberals are fu@king-up their own party.
