1. Good analogy. She is sure going to try to paint herself as Snow White and the good wife.

2. The other day, during a Fox news break on the radio, the newsreader had a "slip of the tongue". He said, "Hillary Clinton announced her presidency......her candidacy".

Check out Michelle Malkin's Hot Air. She has YouTube video of an SNL parody of Chris Mathews interviewing Hillary - very funny, though maybe too close to the truth.....

SNL Hardball

3. I saw that Hillary Hardball skit...very funny stuff.

This will be the first presidential primary in a while where the candidate from either side will not be totally obvious going into it.

I think I'll vote in the Democratic primary this time...I'll be sure to cast my vote for BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA (waiting for trolls to get angry for using his middle name).

4.
The strategy seems to be put out a lot of Straw men to deflect from the unpopularity of Hillary.

Her plan is to get the majority, then put Obama in as VP.

5. Hopefully Hillary will get nominated for prez by the Dems. She won't win, even with the poor crop of Reps throwing their hats in the ring now. Her defeat means a divided government, with the Reps in the White House and the Dems running the House & Senate. A divided government is safer than having one party run the show.

6. So Palouse your saying you should not vote for someone because their middle name happens to share their name with a deposed dictator?

If we're going by that logic what sort of idiot would vote for someone named Willard or Rudolph?

What's in a name Palouse?

7. One of these days I'll learn to preview my comments before I post them. =)

8. Right on cue.

But you need to get used to "George W. Bush and the however-many-George-W.-Bushes."

You all should be able to remember how the D party used Gingrich.

9. Palouse:
I notice that Hillary is starting to use Barak Obama's middle name, too. At least on one occasion, maybe two, as he has announced his exploratory committee to run. I think she has been sitting back, letting Obama have his five minutes of fame and eclipsing other potential contenders, and she how figures the time is right to take him out. Look for her to put more emphasis on his name and muslim upbringing as we go forward. He's going to drop like a stone because of Hillary, but at a time of her choosing.

10. Dear Altruistic Trolls,

You claim there's nothing nefarious with a name - such as HUSSEIN?

How many Trolls would vote for a presidential candidate named: Adolf Rusty "Rush" Bush?? (regardless of their political ideology..)

What's in a name? I rest my case.

11. You knew the PIAPS would come out slinging with her minions. But today, I noticed Obama is not backing away from the 'contact'.

She has a tough road to hoe as she is behind in both Iowa and New Hampshire- both bell ringers for the nomination.

12. Dwarves:

Would that be Breezey, Pleasey, Sleazey, Greasey, Fleecy, Wheezy, Cheesy, Weasely, and Grumpy?? Oh yeah, and Hillary can play Snow White.

Just checking.. -JP

13. Hey maybe Hillary can take a cue from Maria and buy off her competition one by one as they threaten to raise issues she doesn't want to deal with. Perhaps Obama will be her Dotzauer.

14. i'm just tired of the whole Billary legacy.

they had their day in the sun. goodbye. exit stage left. stay out of the news. why not quietly earn big speaking fees/write books and stop garnering the stage lights at every chance? like aging Hollywood stars who wont give up.

no other 'royal family' did this in our history and did this to/against sitting administrations. they all had the propriety to exit with dignity and live their quiet lives. but not these power-hungry Vaudevillians.

problem is, (fear is) how far left does a reed (country) bend in the wind before it snaps?

15. Cn anyone confirm the accuracy of the following Obama bio from Wikipedia? I usually take Wikipedia entries with a grain of salt Tks.

Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama Sr. (black muslim) of Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann Dunham of Wichita, Kansas. (white atheist ).

When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced and his father returned to Kenya. His mother married Lolo Soetoro -- a Muslim -- moving to Jakarta with Obama when he was six years old. Within six months he had learned to speak the Indonesian language Obama spent "two years in a Muslim school, then two more in a Catholic school" in Jakarta. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim while admitting that he was once a Muslim, mitigating that damning information by saying that, for two years, he also attended a Catholic school.

Obama's father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was a radical Muslim who migrated from Kenya to Jakarta, Indonesia. He met Obama's mother, Ann Dunham--a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas--at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Obama, Sr. and Dunham divorced when Barack, Jr. was two. Obama's spinmeisters are now attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came from his father and that influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya immediately following the divorce and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Dunham married another Muslim, Lolo Soetoro who educated his stepson as a good Muslim by enrolling him in one of Jakarta's Wahabbi schools. Wahabbism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad on the industrialized world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama joined the United Church of Christ to help purge any notion that he is still a Muslim.

16. So maybe Obama's schtick should be that Islam is a peaceful religion? I hope he can, but I am seeing more and more evidence that that religion is not so peaceful.

17. Cato - nothing. However, his middle name is fair game, and somewhat conveniently lost in the hype was the MSM failure to use it so generously as they do with GWB, WJC, HRC, etc.

Posted by: Palouse on January 23, 2007 07:45 AM
18. I thought the radical muslim schools were "madrassas" not "wahabbi". Anyhow, there's a snopes link rebutting an email that's circulating(?)
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp

The reference to Wikipedia did bring up his bio and I'm more intrigued by his post K-12 education. Political Science major from Columbia, Harvard Law, magna cum laude, and teaching Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago.
