The Gore Effect
Hits
Seattle.
(Of course I don't really think that Al Gore causes cold weather. But it is amusing, and a
little puzzling, to see how cold weather follows him around. Puzzling because he is such an
energy glutton that one would expect him to warm local areas, not cool them.)

1. Gaia knows that the Prophet Al (PBUH) is pure in heart, thus She suspends the operation of Global Warming wherever he travels.
2. I believe that the reason that the cold air follows Gore is due to a massive A/C that he takes with him every where he goes. After all we all know that he is not worried about what the electric bill will be and he has bought enough "carbon credits" to reduce the carbon footprint.

4. Al Gore - Blowhard jacka$$, not worth listening to. Go home and consume more energy.
5. While I agree with your assessment, Al Gore is not going away. He has convinced the Democratic establishment that it is okay to stifle free speech and ridicule and censor people who disagree with his viewpoint.
Very rarely will you see MSM actually take the new religion of GW to task.
6.
Herr Gore-ing is the biggest media manipulator in the world. Most likely he's got the weatherman reporting inflated temperatures elsewhere to bolster his regime.
For himself, he might be like Mr. Freeze in the old Batman series -- needing to keep his brain at a constant temperature and humidity to prevent it from exploding.
7. The cooler weather that follows the global warming presentations by Al "Gasbag" Gore is just God's way of reminding him who is really in charge of the weather. (Hint: it's not you, little Al no matter how much you bluster).
8. What happens is that algore sucks all the ambient heat into himself, cooling the immediate vicinity.
He's a massive energy black hole, here to save us all from "global warming".....
9. Oh was Al Gore in Seattle? We were having 100 degree weather over here on the dry side, then the wind started blowing and we got some rain.
That must be what happened. Thanks for the cooler weather Al.
10. He has gotten larger lately, and casts a very large shadow, which reduces solar radiation reaching the ground in his vicinity, thus cooling the local environment.
If he bulks up a bit more, we can launch him into geosynchronous orbit and cool the entire planet.
11. I wondered why it got so cold after being so very hot, all of a sudden! Cold weather follows Algore around because when you try to mislead people about the cause of a particular weather-related phenomenon (and thus try to vastly profit off of the whipped-up hysteria), you get consequences for your actions. This is one of those consequences, presumably.
12. "June snowstorm closes highway and dumps 8" in Wyoming"
Is Algore going to Wyoming??
13. A warm front emanates from his mouth. Then the denser cold air moves in and pushes the warm air out of the way. I think that's how it happens. If the barometer plummets, does that mean we can anticipate a visit from Gore?
14. This is the dumbest thread ever. Gore bashing ceased being relevant once Bush stood on an aircraft carrier.
15. Lara: what's wrong with standing on an aircraft carrier to announce the fact that we just had a major victory, indeed, the most successful invasion of a nation in recorded history (not including France)?
16. Nice to see this comment forum proving exactly what "Assault on Reason" describes. Of course you intellectuals on the right wouldn't be bothered to read it, because seeing your own pet method of discourse "Gored" would be more than your fragile post 9/11 sensibilities could stand.
17. DaveD: wow. You attack people here for having an assault on reason by wielding nothing more than
argumentum ad hominem?
You do realize that it would be difficult to be more blindly hypocritical than that, right?
