"Port hopeful lone foe of tax burden"

Today's P-I says that Thom McCann is the only candidate for the Port Commission seat now held by Bob Edwards who wants to reduce the property tax levy that subsidizes the port's business operations.

2. I'm a Republican and I am voting for Thom McCann. He is right on the issues and evidently is the only one who sees that the Port can operate without the tax as most other major ports in the country do!

Yep. I did that research, too. Which is why I already voted for Thom McCann in my mail-in ballot this week.
