Reichert v. Burner Polling Numbers
The latest from SurveyUSA:
Dave Reichert leads Darcy Burner 51% - 45%.
Notables: Reichert leads in every age group and has a big lead with independents (52% - 39%).
But, hey, it's June. Don't get too excited.

1. Darcy Burner, the Republican's "Gift That Keeps on Giving". Usually anything consuming oxygen with a "D" after its name wins in Western Washington. You'd think the second time around the Dems could find a better candidate than Burner.
3. Great, now if we can get him to sign on and support Newt's Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay less petition, it would really be nice. Seeing as how 123 in congress and 1,042,893 citizens (almost 100k just today) have signed on it would be nice to see him a part of this movement.
Join America and sign on to this massive movement!

It is insane to watch the Democrats try to block this movement. We need Oil in this country, while we rush to find other alternatives, before we, our Airline industry, our truckers and our shipping industry are busted by these clowns.
4. Ash @ 2: Of course, it goes without saying that Burner's blind optimism is only in regards to her campaign. As for issues that matter, the War in Iraq and the economy, it's staggeringly blind pessimism. :)
"The question of whether or not the surge is working is a military tactical question that is ESSENTIALLY IRRELEVANT." -- Darcy Burner (recalled from memory/emphasis mine)
5. Democrats and LIberals are pessimists by nature. They need a crisis and a lot of emotion to sell their ideology. Because rational people don't sign on to scams that steal from one group to give to another, or break the economy based on some ambiguous threat, or solve racism with more racism, etc.
If you want to see angry people filled with self hatred, and contempt for success, achievement and freedom, look no further than the destroyers on the left.
And that fits the Darcy schtick to a T. What's Darcy gonna do when the Bush bogeyman goes away?
6. I have received telephone polls several times from the Burner campaign & each time I tell them I plan to vote for Dave Reichert & will not change my mind.
Perhaps others are doing the same when they are called by the pollsters.
7. We haven't had a land line in nearly 4 years (don't miss it), so we don't ever get polled. But I know alot of people who have done the same, and I question the accuracy of many polls that don't have very large sample sizes because of it.
8. Voters are perhaps realizing that Burner is still running the race against George Bush.
9. Cong. Reichert has served four successful years in Congress and seems to be doing a very good job. He's a moderate, which makes attacking him as an ultra-conservative impossible, at least rationally. Maybe the lead is just an indication that he's more in tune with his district and constituents than Burner is or will ever be.
10. C'mon y'all. Given he position she's running for, Burner has about the same resume Barak does.
11. Hey Reichert,
It's way past time to start exploiting our own oil and gas resources. If you want my vote, you need to change your attitude and stop siding with ecocrackpots who want to destroy America. Drill now.
12. Four successful years doing what? He has a had 4 successful years of wasting money on painting pretty picturs on airplanes, passing bloated pork barrel transportation bills, taking good care of Pelosi's shoe, keeping a handicap women from food and water, all the while supporting the biggest mass murderer in US histories lavish Walla Walla lifestyle. What a GREAT GUY! Reichert is not a liberal or conservative, he is just a guy from the "Brownie" school of management.
What guy of sheriff can't figure out what a pimp on crack and 6 others did for 20+ years, that is identifying Ridgeway?
