Thank You Readers

This blogger just wanted to say thanks for coming by. Readership has been up, comment threads lively, and, hey, there's nothing to talk about these days in politics right?

Thanks again for visiting, reading, and helping make the site what it is.

1. Eric, I check this site numerous times every day to become better informed about the local political scene. You perform an invaluable service. I thank you and your colleagues.
Keep up the good work!

2. Thanks in return, to the SP bloggers.

3. What #2 said.

4. Eric,

Thanks for your hard work. Obviously SP doesn't claim to be objective. I think you do a good job of balancing partisanship with honest looks into the political mirror. Some blogs are all about being dumbfounded over why a given ideology/party isn't receiving universal support. I appreciate that SP goes beyond that.

Kudos.

5. For me, it's all about 'learning' and being aware...this site works well in both endeavors for me thanks to you, Pudge, others and of course very intelligent posters. Good job. :)

6. It's so much fun watching the left go to pieces over Palin. I haven't seen them so angry since Ronald Reagan.

Even the media is angry, clearly displaying their bias towards anything leftist.

7. #6: Heh--she IS Reagan. Which is precisely WHY the Left's heads are exploding.

8. Thanks Eric, and all SP contributors. During my short stay here, I've found an outlet to vent my spleen without looking ridiculous cussing out an inadamant object carrying Dave Ross' radio program.=)

9. Thanks to the bloggers too. And thanks for nixing the juvenile clown posts.

10. Thanks to all contributors for their opinions on both sides. It gives information to those like me who rarely post, but read several times a day looking for information to find the "real" answers that usually lie somewhere in between the hard cores from both sides.

I've been a reader since this site was only a few months old and have enjoyed the perspectives of everyone. I would give extra kudos to Jim, Pudge, Eric, and Stefan for their continued efforts through the years to educate all without being smarmy and vindictive.

I hope this site stays around for years to come.

11. You need look no further than the Viwe and BabbaWawa and her angry questioning of John McCain about how Palin will shake up Washington. It's funny to see how out of control she's getting with herself. Her bias may as well be painted across her forehead!
With ammo like that, how could we NOT be great bloggers!?!

12. So, which of the posters are going to the blogger's convention next weekend? Eric, you shakin' loose?

13. Hey Eric, Pudge, Stefan, Jim, Don et al, THANK YOU! For the time and thought you devote ...and provoke!

I read lots of blogs, admittedly most of my own political persuasion but this one is home: the one I continually refresh, the one where I take notes, mark my place and add my two cents. I learn here, from like minded folks and from political adversaries (PA's). I KNOW it drives the PA's nutso, but your challenges have honed my research skills... however I have crashed my Outlook Express emailing myself articles I want to save (because I know I'll need them to prove you wrong!).

I don't like Seattle anymore: I don't like to drive there, I don't like to visit there, I won't spend any money there, but the Sound Politics family gives me hope.

Thanks guys!
