Random Thought
The imposter posing as long-time SP commenter "Duffman" in the comments is a one of the real losers of our time. Neither the majority of commenters nor I always agree with Duffman, but he's authentic at least. His imposter is pathetic.

What is there to say? Jimmy Carter is a beloved ex-president. And the man is a book signing machine. It's a marvel to watch. Signing tickets available by purchasing We Can Have Peace in the Holy Land: A Plan That Will Work from University Book Store, beginning January 20 2009.
8. How can we tell the difference? The real Duffman has a sense of humor and is lucid. Pseudo Duffman only "thinks" he has a sense of humor. Lucidity just isn't there for Pseudo.
9. It is only the creme de la creme of posters who get these imposters, Duffman. There is another guy who goes by 'PugetSound,' who has often had to deal with imposter posters on this and another blog. I don't know him, but he is a very intelligent guy.
The closest I've ever had to an imposter poster was once when somebody posted as "Russell's concience."

The State Pension Fund...Which was UNDERFUNDED by $5.1 BILLION @ 6/30/07 reports they have lost $15.6 BILLION in the last 15 months. They have done actuarial projections based on 8% POSITIVE RETURN.
The Seattle Times posted this story @ 6:00PM Friday and took it down before Saturday AM...and have made no further mention of it.

16. I always like Duffman's comments. He reminds me of the good old days when you disagreed with Democrats, but they were still rational.
17. Eric, thanks for pointing out the imposter but commenters here (yes, me too) are playing right into his hands. He's a sad loser who adds nothing to the political discourse. He's only looking for attention and responding to his useless comments gives him what he wants.
We all know the real duffman....so how about if we all get together and totally IGNORE the weeny imposter. Maybe he'll get bored and go away.
We can hope........

Again, thans Eric and thank you all for your support and in the case of #10 I agree with you too I don't deserve a topic in itself; I thought may be it w/be possible to block the person's ISP address (as I believe Pudge has done in the past?). Any way I'm appreciative of all comments and I guess I too will just have to grin and bear it (so to speak) and ignore. Muchas gracias! :)
19. I've complained many times on SP about this very topic.
The internet has unleashed an avalanche of uncivilized behavior. All you need do is make up a silly name and blather to your heart's content.
If nothing else, the internet surely reveals the disgusting side of human nature in the same way a visit to a public bathroom does.
You can go to horsesass and see this on steroids.
I think we can be reasonably proud here that we have been able to keep the lunacy to a minimum.

Would it be possible to use your omnipotent powers and delete all of the Duffman imposter comments ? Otherwise, he has no incentive to stop. It would also give this blog a leg up in enforcement - you could set a precedent !
