Tea Party in Monroe this Saturday

Tax Day is over but the Tea Party protests are not. Come to Lake Tye Park in Monroe, WA on Saturday, April 25. There's a march and flag-waving at noon, and the rally starts at 1 p.m., with another march and flag-waving at 3 p.m. I'll be performing the song I played at last week's Olympia Tea Party.

1. Here's a small suggestion to show support if you can't make the events (I'm pretty busy on weekends).

We don't have bumper stickers, we don't have professionally crafted signs, but most of us drive vehicles and most of us can afford a couple bucks.

Start hanging tea bags from your mirror to support this meme. Just a single tea bag. Hung from the rearview mirror.

Beats the dopey pine tree air freshener any day.

2. I like that idea, Jack. and the tree fresheners don't "freshen" anything. They just spread icky chemical fumes around the car. Dopey with a capital D.

3. It's good that these Tea Parties not stop and it looks like they may keep going. Good.

I like the Tea Bag as mirror ornament. I'm going up stairs and get one of my more fragrant varieties and attach it right now.

4. I like G Jiggy's idea. Another thing i noticed as I was working out at my favorite fitness center watching their several TV screens recently, how poorly a newscaster treated a conservative man yelling at him ect! Did anyone else see this?? then several news casters had a group discussion and some of them came to her defense?! I'm confused!!

5. Woo hoo! More teabagging! We liberals had feared you'd make us wait until Independence Day, when we'd be too busy celebrating to care, but you've agreed to keep the comedy flowing! Splendid! Wave your bag, wave it high and loud!

For extra comedic value, could you whine about your lack of freedom in front of the big jail in Monroe? Cuz that would be really cool! (I'm sure the residents there would agree that we spend too much tax money on certain government projects...)

Do you have an actual point to make? It doesn't seem like it. All you did was say you think protesting government high taxing/spending is funny (without saying why) and then you added in a straw man about the jail.
