Stupid Criminals Gone Wild

And she only wanted $300!

Go big or go home, I always say.

1. I also have dark hair and really bad penmanship, but I swear it wasn't me.

2. Well if that had been a Seattle-area bank I imagine the teller would have been fired for failing to hand over the $300, and cops would have chimed in with 'while this one worked out, we generally advise against resisting crime.'

How's that for stupid?

3. stupid criminals are to be expected, and are a dime a dozen, but why do we have so much stupidity in our law-enforcement?

I heard this woman interviewed by Dori Monson today. She bought a box of Zyrtec allergy pills for her husband, and several days later also bought some Mucinex for an adult daughter in March '09.

Months later in late July, she awoke at her rural home to cops banging on the door of her rural Indiana home. She says there were 'six or seven' cop cars parked outside. She was arrested for buying potential meth-making material and booked into jail. She says that when arrested she still had most of the medication in the blister-paks, but the cops did not want to see it.

She is a grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 2 who says that she doesn't drink, smoke, and has never used any illegal drug or even had a speeding ticket, ever.
