1. Washington does have a very open system overall, but ask the legislator(s) why they don't follow the same laws they expect locally elected officials to follow including e-mails.

The government should be even more open.

Let the sunshine in!

2. I don't know how anyone can be pleased with the current enforcement methods, including the partisan PDC. When the question was raised why a well known Democrat consultant Northwest Passage, was co-housing (same address, same suite #) Moxie Media while representing the Dow Constatine campaign and Moxie was buying hit pieces for a third party union "Independant expenditure" campaign against Dow's primary opponent.

The PDC said "There was no evidence of coordination" even though MNP Partners (Moxie Northwest Passage) had existed formally until December '08 and they were recieving checks from Dow's Roosevelt fund until July '09. The PDC is a partisan political arm of the Democrat party in Washington State and they prove it every day.

3. I asked this question before, but nobody answered, in a theoretical matchup, who would you vote for for Governor, Rob McKenna or Brian Sonntag?

Because even as a hardcore Republican who's never voted for a Democrat for any other office...I still vote for Brian Sonntag. I don't know who I'd vote for between the two.

4. Are the open government folks looking into Patty Murrays latest earmarks for campaign contributions scandal with Infinia highlighted by Wolf Blitzer and CNN? This coupled with the Front line special on earmarks that featured our Senator should send up flares the whole state can see.
