Not Evil Just Wrong debuts Sunday at 5 PM

Al Gore received a Nobel Prize and an Oscar for claiming in his film "An Inconvenient Truth" that humans cause global warming. Today, because of this film, school children fear that polar bears are drowning and they and their parents will be next. And extreme "cap-and-trade" legislation Gore could only dream about a decade ago is now pending approval in the U.S. Senate, estimated to cost billions of dollars, mortgaging the futures of those same children before they've earned their first paycheck.

In Not Evil Just Wrong two Irish filmmakers take on Al Gore and the blind acceptance of his doomsday agenda.

Over 3 years in the making with a budget of over $1million, this explosive documentary exposes the distortions and hypocrisy of Gore and the global warming "industry." It explains the true costs of environmental policies like "cap-and-trade" now before Congress.

Today over 31,000 scientists are saying Al Gore is wrong. That CO2 has little effect on planetary temperatures, and there is no climate crisis. But Not Evil Just Wrong is the film that explains it all and will decisively change the public's mind about global warming. A film that will change history.

1. I sincerely doubt you will see this film being shown in public (K-12) schools anytime soon. At least not if the Marxists who run the NEA and WEA have anything to say about it.

2. Algore did not win an Oscar. The film that he narrated won, and the Oscar was awarded to the director, Davis Guggenheim. Someone may have given Algore a statue, he may have spoken at the awards ceremony, but he did NOT win an Oscar.

3. #1 That is just one more reason we should be deeply concerned about Public education in this country. We have become weaker in science and math over the last 20-30 years. Furthermore, we have seen attempts of indoctrination of children to a left wing political persuasion.

It would stand to reason that a vast majority of the schools would not show this because it refutes a big part of the left wing agenda.

The NEA/WEA are content to dumb down school kids by presenting only one side of the story (whose truth is in doubt) in favor of producing more Democratics when they grow up. Hopefully, parents are waking up to this sobering fact, providing they have come out their dumbed-down state already and they will take a more active interest in what their children are learning in school.

4. Ob-wan:

It doesn't matter that Guggenheim received the Oscar. An Inconvenient Truth is Al Gore and Al Gore is An Inconvenient Truth. The die is cast.

AGW is perceived as real (the MSM will beat only that one drum) and there's nothing you or I can do to change this before the December Copenhagen Treaty signing ceremonies.

The good thing about this - and yes there are good things - is that the climate is now solidly into a cooling phase and will remain there for the next 20 to 30 years.

The people will remember who sold our prosperity for a lie and it will take at least another generation before they will buy anything these snake oil salesmen.

The kids now being force fed this AGW pseudoscience will be the ones who turn this around. When they begin raising their own families and realize that they are expected to support the rest of the planet at the expense of their children they will not be as pliant as their Harvard educated betters hope.

5. Gore is an imbecile. As is anyone that believes in man-caused climate change.

It's an earth cycle, stupid.

6. "Climate change" is simply another vehicle the left invented to frighten us into socialism.

Aren't they just charming people?

I believe you have to work backwards in order to understand these people. Controlling socialists have always been attracted to the left. It's where they always end up whether it's in China, Cuba, or the old Soviet Union. They play games like "climate change" and "healthcare reform" and 40-years ago tried to scare everyone about "the coming ice-age".

Once you understand the people that end up on the left what they do ceases to be a mystery. Killing unborn children? The people that gravitate to the left think that's a wonderful idea. Do nice, decent people advocate infanticide? I think not. Do nice decent people wage an annual war against the Christmas Season? The left does it every year. I sometimes wonder if these people have any hobbies besides screwing with people.

It really can't be repeated enough. The left is a magnet for dreadful, angry people. The kinds of people who ripped Sarah Palin apart a year ago because she dares to disagree with the left. The people that indocrinate children in public schools. Being a bunch of controlling creeps is what gets these people high. That ought to be more than obvious by now. Even Seattle, a city filled with leftists finally had enough and rejected that ridiculous grocery bag law.

The good news? They've finally overplayed their hand.

Most Americans finally are paying attention to these nanny state kooks. They are fed up with all the years of having to put up with thier political correctness.

Isn't it about time?

7. Thanks for the heads-up, Ron. I will try to view it, one way or the other. Hopefully online.

8. I'm growing tired of the nonsense. Why can't we just divide the Country in half and they can have their way with all their wonderful ideas and we'll take our half and get back to what America is all about. Freedom. I figure those liberals would probably starve to death in about three months maybe less.

Posted by: Mark on October 18, 2009 01:47 PM
9. Mark maybe that's already happened. Liberals dominate the big cities, which are largely crime ridden, unfriendly disaster areas.

You couldn't pay me enough to ride public transit after dark. The misery these moral relativists have inflicted is nearly beyond belief.

Posted by: Bill Cruchon on October 18, 2009 04:18 PM
10. More garbage from politcal partisans. If you really believe what you spew why just attack Al Gore? He is merely relaying what thousands of scientists have been warning about for decades and is evident if those who claim to be in the know on this looked beyond their own doorteps, or knew the difference between climate trends and weather. This is just more diversionary rhetoric. I won't be wasting my time watching this trash anytime soon.

11. @8: Why can't we just divide the Country in half and they can have their way with all their wonderful ideas and we'll take our half and get back to what America is all about.

Obliterating everything and making it completely unlivable, apparently.

@9: You couldn't pay me enough to ride public transit after dark. The misery these moral relativists have inflicted is nearly beyond belief.

Every time you open your damn fool mouth, I'm amazed that you can say things that are actually even MORE crotchety than before. :)

Then again, your solution is probably just to allow the people you don't like to die, right?

Terrific film: It should be required viewing for every politician in the country. Kudos to the Irish filmmakers who did this.

14. This is miss-titled, I'm sorry but it is wrong AND evil but of course so is Al Gore.

15. Footnote 2 my prior:

''Not Evil Just Wrong'' can now be purchased on DVD for only $19.95 (+ S&H, probably).

Right on.

16. JM: If you really believe what you spew why just attack Al Gore?

No one is just attacking Al Gore, including this film; so now that you realize your perceptions were incorrect, I guess you have no reason to not see the film.

You're welcome!

More garbage from politcal partisans. ... This is just more diversionary [sic] rhetoric

Riiiiiight. YOU perceive people who merely disagree as being partisan, and THEY are the ones with the divisionary rhetoric?

He is merely relaying what thousands of scientists have been warning about for decades and is evident if those who claim to be in the know on this looked beyond their own doorteps, or knew the difference between climate trends and weather.

Actually, anyone who actually understands the issues knows that there is plenty of room for disagreement and doubt, as thousands of scientists have been telling us for decades.

17. YAF (Yet another Footnote):
The initial streaming video of ''Not Evil Just Wrong'' has now finished, BUT:
They are now streaming the post-movie panel discussion, which I expect is also well worth watching.

18. I just finished watching on Breitbart. More and more as I watched I found myself questioning the veracity of the title. How can people run with junk science and use it politically to bring about death and misery?

Posted by: sullinsea on October 18, 2009 05:50 PM
19. Perhaps the tgwo Irish film directors were being too kind with the title., What justifies evil ? Does duping the people with junk science for the sake of profit and greed ? You decide.

Posted by: KDS on October 18, 2009 05:57 PM
20. Really interesting to observe leftists come totally unglued as demo kid does at post #11. Try sometime having a political discussion with your leftist neighbor, or your leftist friends. I am so sick of these truly nasty people. Just look at how demo kid behaves.

It is simply wonderful to see the entire "climate change" myth these awful people made up disintegrate before their eyes. And it makes them as annoyed as wet hens.

Will they admit they've been wrong? Of course they won't. It's one the hallmarks of leftists. They never, ever apologize. They never admit they have been wrong. Does the left attract nasty jerks? Does one need a whole lot more evidence?

How much evidence does anyone need to come to that conclusion? The millions killed by Mao, Che and Castro? Big leftist heroes every one of them.

You can walk on Seattle's Capitol hill any day and see idiots wearing Che t-shirts. If that isn't insanity what is? This awful person is idolized by the left. The guy was a horrible murderer. It just makes me sick. What in the world is the matter with these people?

What kind of miserable example of a human being would say stuff such as demo kid did?

"Then again, your solution is probably just to allow the people you don't like to die, right?"

This from someone who doesn't mind innocent little babies dying in the least. Are these sick, twisted people? I'll leave to our dear readers to decide.

The answer is that these people find a home on the left side of the political spectrum. It's who they are and that's why they are on the left. Is creepy, nasty demo kid a good enough example? I rather think so.

I think it is important to use these people as examples to drive the point home. It isn't necessary to make up lies about the left. Demo kid demonstrates it plainly. Any leftists blog such as Horsesass.org will demonstrate glaringly how truly nasty leftists are. It's simply revealing when they demonstrate with their own rhetoric what kind of individuals they are.

Posted by: Bill Cruchon on October 18, 2009 06:51 PM
21. We're watching a retrospective of Monty Python tonight.

Were they leftists? I think it is fair to say so.

They were also creative people who poked fun at nearly everyone.

40 years later after the Pythons entertained us leftists have become meanies who want nothing more than to control how we live our lives. They have turned into humorless, angry people such as demo kid. I think that is what always ultimately happens to the left. You end up with Radical Women, Code Pink , Raging Grannies, Al Sharpton, the ACLU, and the whole host of communists and socialists that are always behind every leftist cause. Wonderful, warm people who try to ruin the Christmas season for children every year.

Aren't these politically correct people folks people you'd like to sit down and have a drink with?

Frankly, I think I'd pass.

22. demo kid is just projecting in his comments @11. Bill never said that he wished anyone would die, but earlier this year demo kid did write on this blog that he wished I would commit suicide because he disagreed with me. I agree with Bill, not exactly a well adjusted person. demo kid usually tries to play it cool, but he has a mean streak, smetimes lashes out with some very ugly words, and is not the kind of person I would ever want to know.

Oh, and he is wrong on climate change and totally unwillng to examine the science that has been presented to him here with links many times.

Posted by: Jeff B. on October 18, 2009 09:39 PM
23. Jeff B. I am glad demo kid posts comments such as he did at #11.

It ought to tell most of our readers what sort of person he is. It simply illustrates what you and I say about the left.

That is probably worth more than our commentary. It speaks for itself.

Posted by: Michele on October 18, 2009 10:41 PM
25. Scary looking, isn't he? Don't you just love fat people telling us how to live our lives?

Honestly I have nothing against fat people. I do have something against the fat people on the left like Nickels, McGinn, and Gore who love telling us how we should live our lives. I don't give a darn what you eat or drink, but I cannot stand hypocrites.

32. Good show, particularly the emphasis on Africa. Real people desperately needing carbon-based development will suffer most from red Green ideology imposed by rich white leftist fanatics.

We conservatives who understand how damaging progressive pathology is and will be -- if/when they get their way on Gore's "climate crisis" -- better get a grip. It's one minute before midnight or one minute before the final buzzer, and we are barely in the game.

NPR reported on Friday that Kyoto-Copenhagen is probably dead, but NPR on Sunday reported that Murkowski and other Republicans are eager to sign on to Congress's Kyoto-lite. And the EPA is ready to roll on regulating CO2 and civilization back to the Stone Age.

Even if the Kyoto one-world supergovernment is temporarily sidelined, it's only a matter of Marx and time before something like it, some GOP-abetted cap'n'trade goes through. And we're out of time.

Yesterday's movie had one voice that people might listen to. It isn't Lord Monckton or Dr. Lindsen. They're too monochrome for a world hooked on rainbow. We need to get Roy Innis back on stage. He saw what Rachel Carson did to Uganda. He sees what Gore will do to Uganda and everybody else if we don't stop wasting the minute we have left.

Posted by: Gorebasm on October 19, 2009 03:10 PM
33. As long as the Republican Party supports "moderates" such as McCain and Reichert who simply cave in to leftists and their global warming hoax we can count on rarely winning an election. McCain and Reichert are the sort of Republicans Democrats dream of.

I am just appalled conservatives can't figure this out. I am so disgusted with hearing about how we need to attract a "big tent".

What turned us into a bunch of wimps that abandon our decent principles and let leftists dictate our politics?

Most Americans agree with conservative ideals. We don't agree with so-called conservatives such as Michael Medved who won't even allow a television in his home. Is it a big wonder he was a huge McCain supporter? Yeah McCain, who completely buys the left's global warming hoax. Did McCain oppose drilling in ANWR? Sure he did.

Don't misunderstand, I enjoy Medved and agree him often but I think he has an immense hangover brought on by all the years he was a liberal. A true conservative would never have supported McCain.

When we stand for conservative principles and are not afraid to explain them Americans vote for us. When we become faux liberals we lose. Democrats know this perfectly well.
