When all local politics are national
Republican Scott Brown is surging in the polls for next Tuesday's Massachusetts special Senate race to finish the term of the late Ted Kennedy.
If elected, now a realistic possibility, Brown would be the final vote needed to save the United States from the looming Obamacare disaster. (Thanks for spreading the word, Barney!)
Brown's win would also give momentum to other Republicans seeking to oust Democrats around the country this fall even some other deep-blue state Democrats, such as our own Patty Murray or Rick Larsen.
This would be a good time to make an online donation to the Scott Brown campaign.

1. The First National Tea Party Convention wll be held February 4-6, 2010 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN.
The cost to go and see our maverick Sarah is only $549.00.
The convention is aimed at bringing the Tea Party Movement leaders together from around the nation for the purpose of networking and supporting the movements' multiple organizations principle goals.

2. I find myself hoping that somehow the voters of Massachusetts will save us.
... and they just might.
3.
Democrat Barney Frank told reporters Friday: "If Scott Brown wins, it'll kill the health bill."
4. What Martha Coakley did to the Amerault family is beyound the pale. I'm sending money to Brown today.
5. Obamy has decided to go to MA on Sunday to give last minute instructions to the Black Panthers and other assorted SEIU and ACORN goon squads to deploy and quash the momentum.
That will be accompanied by a teleprompter plea to vote for expanded government and the nanny state cloaked in stylistic language by the silver-tongued devll himself.
6. And let's hope Obama is as successful as he was with Copenhagen, the Olympics, Corzine, and Deeds.
7. Oh, and apparently the Democrats believe that the World Trade Center is a symbol of greed.
8. Brown will need to win beyond the margin of fraud in that state! If he does win, it would be a real harbinger for November 2010...
9. Bill H, you are absolutely right. The fact that the race for Ted Kennedy's seat is even close in Massachusetts, of all places, is already a harbinger.
Now we see that Boxer is in trouble in California.
I think Brown can win. He has very pale skin and doesn't have a negro dialect.
10. News today of more Dem congressmen retiring.
11. At this point brown looks to be up by about 5 points and the SEUI is starting ads linking brown to Bush and Limbuagh. His counter to that seems good but who knows.
One thing is certain, Brown is going to need more than 5 points to overcome the fraudulent voter surge. I'm not hopeful.
12. Guess what!! good news I checked the website I went to that grades our 2 Illustrious pioliticians there is an 100% neither one of them will be voted on by anyone. Could it be possible people in our state are getting the message finally!!They both got Fs (Murray and Cant do Well)Ihope this makes your day like it made mine!!
13. FYI - in the last poll, Murray has a 55% favorable rating, but Gregoire is only 34% favorable.
14. If Coakley loses, it will be the result of the incredible arrogance of the reds. They are so smugly certain of their rightness, their humanity, justness etc. of their cause that they feel no obligation to listen to the people. To them, health care reform can *only* be about socialized healthcare, through the front door or the back door. Liberals will only listen to kos and moveon.org.
When people oppose or question what they do, out come the SEIU goons and the likes of Mr. Meehan.
The old adage about liberals is correct: liberals love humanity but hate people.
16. KDS:
who would have guessed you were a liar AND a racist?
classy.
17. Say, Mike. Could you point out KDS' racist part and then explain why it's racist?
Just askin'
18. #16 - Your class is up your ars. You have nothing to offer except your asanine screed.
19. Scott Brown is poised to win this election, and it may not even be close. Coakley acted as if all she had to do was throw her hat in the ring, and the fine folks in Mass. would elect her.
Then Scott and his team ran a masterful campaign, and now he is ahead according to the latest polls. But the only poll that matters is the one that happens on Tuesday when the voters have their say.
Coakley is banking on the Dems to show up and do what they have been doing for decades - elect yet another Democratic senator. But it is the conservative and independent voters who are energized and genuinely excited about voting for Scott Brown.
I am hoping that Brown wins by at least 10%, taking away the chances for any shenanigans that may happen in a close election.
20. Good point Gary I will keep tabs on fox news and see what happens.Figures Ds would bring out the goon Patrol!! Do they really think that will work!!Ever notice when the big dems come out it always seems to be the kiss of death for these campaigns!!
21. Note the "You're racist" rant of KDS.
Thats how the left wants to shut off debate.
Typical
22. I like how the Dems are already lining up their excuses in case Coakley loses. Expect to hear more about how she was a bad candidate, ran a terrible campaign, and oh by the way, this was not a referendum on Obama or Obamacare. Riiiiigggghhht. Go Brown.
