Tax Alert from State Legislature

From Rep. Dan Kristiansen's web site:

This weekend you have the opportunity to tell the Democrat leaders exactly what you think about their tax-increase plans.

This Saturday, Feb. 13 at 9 a.m. in the John L. O'Brien Building, Hearing Room A, the House Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on Senate Bill 6130, which would repeal the taxpayer protection initiative. Also on the agenda is House Bill 3176, which is one of the many tax increase bills introduced by the Democrats as a way to dig out of the mess they created by years of reckless overspending.

I urge you to get involved to stop this! Here's how:

Come to Olympia, attend the public hearing at 9 a.m. and voice your opinion.

After the hearing is over, come to the Capitol building and watch from the galleries as the House of Representative debates SB 6130. Although I don't know exactly what time the bill will be brought to the House floor for action, it will likely be sometime after 1 p.m. this Saturday.

Your presence in the House gallery will send a strong signal to the Democratic majority that overturning the will of the people will not go unnoticed!

1. Isn't tomorrow the caucus?

2. Jonathan, yep. I suspect this is part of why the Dems are doing it when they are.

3. Yeah, I thought that too. Husband and I are considering having one of us go to the caucus meeting and the other to the hearing.

4. This is a deliberate plan from the democrats to time this exactly at the time the Republican caucuses will be held. If you're going to a caucus, be sure you let everyone there know this. Might be a good idea also to make a few phone calls to friends sitting on the fence too.

5. Obviously the foreign born Obama designed and orchestrated this plan to foster socialism in Washington by keeping God fearing Republicans out of the discussion.

Next they'll be telling us that the budget crisis was not caused by the mess they created by years of reckless overspending, but by
the greatest job destroying recession since the 1930s which happened as a result of the stupefying failure of the Bush/Cheney administration to regulate our free-market financial system.

6. Why is it that liberals are always so bad at pretending to be conservatives?
