Burner's Rudeness and (thin) Resume Didn't Impress King County Journal

In pointing out certain moments of this year's political campaigns, the King County Journal notes the interview where Republican Luke Esser described his 48th District St. Senate opponent Rodney Tom as "too liberal". Democrat Tom in turn called Esser "nothing but a government bureaucrat", whereupon the KC Journal observed "Note to Rodney Tom: Dems' leader, Gov. Gregoire, has been a"government bureaucrat" her entire career." Bingo! The embarrassed Tom won't be hauling THAT one out again!

Then there's the moment where Sen. Pam Roach noted that one of her Municipal League evaluators wore three nose rings. I think Roach has a point---when was the last time you stuck three nose rings on to go interview for a job, or anyplace else where you wanted to be taken seriously??

But the Journal displays a pointedly negative opinion of the 8th Cong. District's liberal candidate

"...Darcy Burner, whose civic involvement and voting record are less than noteworthy".

The newspaper points out Burner's lack of civility in calling Congressman Dave Reichert "politically crass." So, what did the Journal think of Burner for saying that?

"The only one crass is the one using the word."
