VIETNAM VETERANS AGAINST JOHN MCCAIN
COL. EARL HOPPER SAYS MCCAIN GUILTY OF TREASON IN VIETNAM
Click below to visit the "Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain" site: http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/cin_hopper_video2.htm

At the above site, there is a video interview in a series of 5 files which one can see and hear, wherein Col. Earl Hopper states that John McCain was guilty treason while he was a prisoner of war in Vietnam. But... Let it be clearly understood by all who read this file: I am not making this accusation. I am merely presenting to the reader what is asserted by Colonel Earl Hopper and his wife, Patty. -- Duane

According to Col. Hopper, about 5-7 days after his capture, McCain asked the North Vietnamese to take him to a hospital, and that he would give them classified information. Hopper says, "They did... He did." Further, according to Hopper the classified, U.S. Aerial-Tactical information that McCain gave the North Vietnamese enabled them station anti-aircraft weapons in positions that made it possible for them to shoot down a number of U.S. pilots and bring to a halt the bombing campaign against North Vietnam.

HERE IS THE TEXT OF JOHN MCCAIN'S HANOI RADIO SPEECH, JUNE 2, 1969
found on the "Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain" site:

INTRODUCTION BY ANOTHER [apparently a North Vietnamese Official]:

At his May 19 press conference in Washington, U.S. Defense Secretary Melvin Laird distorted the truth about the policy of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam government towards captured U.S. pilots in North Vietnam. Those very airmen have long since given the lie to Laird's allegations. Here is one of them, LCMDR John Sidney McCain, service number 624787, USS Oriskany, speaking of the treatment he has been receiving.

(MALE VOICE WITH AMERICAN ACCENT)
[apparently asserted to be that of John McCain]

"I was a U.S. airman engaged in the crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused more injury even death for the people of Vietnam. After I was captured I was taken from a hospital in Da Nang where I received very good medical treatment. I was given an operation on my leg, which allowed me to walk again, and a cast for my right arm which was badly broken in three places. The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for some time, I regained much of my health and strength."

Col. Hopper asserts that some of the returned, former POW Colonels wanted charges preferred against McCain for his violation of Military codes while he was a prisoner of the North Vietnamese, but that this effort was quashed by those who did not want it done.

Nevertheless, Col. Hopper considers John Sidney McCain to be a lying traitor unworthy of becoming President of the United States. He alleges that because McCain's perfidy was known by the U.S. Military, while other POWs received promotions while captive in North Vietnam, McCain was not promoted.

1. public,

You ever been subjected to a North Vietnamese torture regime? No? Ever Gone through SERE training? No? Please STFU and stop repeating these COMPLETELY BASELESS ALLEGATIONS. McCain has admitted to making the "air pirate" statements - not within the timeframe of the silliness you post, but statements against his country nonetheless - after a particularly cruel bout of terror treatment. McCain TURNED DOWN EARLY RELEASE. HE WILLINGLY SUBJECTED HIMSELF TO MULTPLE YEARS OF TORTURE AND AN UNKNOWN DEPARTURE DATE TO DENY THE ENEMY A PROPAGANDA VICTORY.

YOU REPEATED THIS BULL$$$$, earning you a space among my hated. Imagine that some of our current MIA show up online, I will take what they say with a grain of salt becasue they are in duress. Don't be a fuc--ead. By repeating this baseless crap, you are being a fuc--ead.

2. I thought your article was going to be about his denial of existing POWs after the Vietnamese said there were none after he was in the Senate.

That position ticked off many vets, and in particular, got Ross Perot to toss his hat in the ring against Bush I.

I also heard McCain say he broke down after a lengthy time in the hotel and was sorry for it. I never heard it was right after capture, which I doubt.

Dog, war is hell.

3. I didn't like it when they made fun of Gen.Stockdale, nor do I wish to make fun of McCain.

Ron Paul had his David Duke postings by WVH,so full disclosure is only fair.

My problems with McCain are on his political views.

He will brake the bank for battling Radical cave dwellers, when a few laser guided statements can do the job without risking another death or worse torture.

4. Dog, you are not an ostrich. Take your head out of the sand.

They are not radical cave dwellers we are fighting. We are at war with Radical Jihadists and they set up shop at all the Madrassas and try to enforce Sharia Law. Just last week, the Church of England leader said England has to adopt Sharia Law when they mete out punishments. In other words, polygamy, genitalia manipulation of women and other tortures will be allowed. Is this what you think can be contained by a few choice words?

And, maybe that is why you are a Paultard and I am one who agrees with the idea, but totally rejects the implementation.

5. Terrorist's are smarter than you give them credit for.You war hawks buy into the notion that by being over there, we keep them from coming here.

People that learn how to fly commercial jets are going to try and get us no matter where we try and take the fight to.

You war hawks like to woop woop woop about Radical islamics that we can beat with one arm tied behind our back.

It is like the UFC promoting Ortiz aganst Shamrock. You just knew Ortiz was going to whip Shamrock and hardly be a match,But the promoters hyped it all up like shamrock had a chance, and hoped the public bought into it and ordered the pay per view..

The Hawks make radical muslims out to be this big bad threat that we must fight, and give up our rights of personel freedoms to do it.(order the pay per view)

They are hiding in caves, and hiding behind the women and children...

I am more scared of getting killed right here at home by a drug task force that thought I was holding a semi automatic tv remote control.

The hawks are selling a fear to make a buck.
You can buy it, I am a tougher sell.

6. Priceless line: "Let it be clearly understood by all who read this file: I am not making this accusation." I'm not saying it's true; I'm just disseminating the slander.

Shameful.

Seriously, public, when did you serve?

7. It can be tough to run for office.
Stuff comes out of the woodwork.

I served my community when I rode buses for three hours around a blown down hood canal bridge just to listen to fans in some other town say Port Angeles sucks.

I served my community by believing I could make a living using public roads I paid $16,000 a year to use, while social engineers planned on using Ramp Metering to skirt the use of the freeways by SOV traffic..Commercial traffic is SOV......

I shifted my leg to the bone for the cuase of commerce.

I suppose that doesn't mean anything to you..well I got news for you Sgt Slaughter,America is served just as much, if not more ,by the people brave enough to put all they have on the line to initiate commerce, and try to make a profit.

War has not enabled me to make profit.
War has enabled me to lose my shirt and lose a body part. Now I fight everyday, for free, to restore profitability, and to restore the incentive to engage in commerce in America, specifically King County and Washington State..

You are fighting to make money for a corporation who's headquarters is off shore.you represent chaos in an area that happens to effect a needed commodity.GAS.Since we have been there the price has gone thru the roof.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT DOES TO PROFITABILITY OF THE INDUSTRIES THAT DEPEND ON THAT GOD DAMN COMMODITY.

I would love to see you run a delivery business with prices where they are right now.
I doubt this has evcer entered into your brainwashed ,salt petered brain.

My brother is thankful for the war in Iraq because he owns stock in Big Oil.He could care less about radical islamics,To him they are a convenient side show.

Serving has nothing to do with having an opinion.
I see your military service and raise you a business man.

8. I think you are oversimplifying the threat of global Jihadism (I.E. radicalization of Islam).

I pointed out only a few areas where the takeover is occurring and you jump the shark and go native. It is more complicated than that.

9. We can't continue wholesale campaining. We have to restore profitability and take laser guided steps until we can afford more wholesale campaigning.
Patton mentioned wonder weapons,That is what we need to use for a while until the economy has put away enough acorns for more wholesale campaigning.

10. Create an enemy,and create a shortage.

It has gotten real clever since the days when they used to slaughter cows and create beef, milk, and cheese shortages,to get price increases for beef ,milk, and cheese.

Only now it is radical islamics and oil.
What is sad is that people actually buy into it.

Then they have the back up promotion to help fester more fear by saying Iran will get an A-bomb.

So many people will bite into that stuff hook line and sinker and wear it on their sleeve.

Some ache for revenge against the persians for all the years of fighting with the christians.

For goodness sake they wipe their asses with their hand and wipe it on their boots.

We can leave them behind and never look back.
We just need to restore the profitability and rev up the golden goose.
We can make them submit with laser guided weapons and a healthy economy that can afford to keep a sustained effort without ruining a currency.

When will you hawks be happy.
When you are on horseback with a girl that can't talk , looking at the statue of liberty barried up to its neck.
You guys go too far.

11. Comment of the day: "You guys go too far."...written with a straight face by, of all people Publicbulldog !

Terrorist's are smarter than you give them credit for.You war hawks buy into the notion that by being over there, we keep them from coming here. People that learn how to fly commercial jets are going to try and get us no matter where we try and take the fight to.

Um,... how many, exactly, since we went over there?

My God, someone get this poor guy some meds.... or stop feeding his insanity.

12. Well well well if it isn't the Ragmatic adjustible dred.

Just the person that would end up on the horse with a woman that can't talk, looking at the statue of liberty barried up to its neck.

You can't see past the promotion.
Meanwhile we ruin a currency.

We can't sustain this madness Ragmatic.

All I ask is that we consider a more pragmatic approach.
No I don't buy into the notion that we are any safer over there at a "line of scrimmage" particularly with an open border like ours.

Fitting that the biggest fear monger on this blog would make his way onto this thread.

BOOO!!!!!

13. It isn't like the terrorist carry a sign that sez I am a terrorist. They could be here right now having snuck in from Mexico and we wouldn't know until it hit us.

Like I said I do not buy into the notion that we lock in a line of scrimmage anywhere.
That is sheer sophist sales,Ready to be bought by the future naked bareback riders that discover the statue of liberty barried up to its neck.

14. McCain ain't my guy. He's got as much chance of winning this state as PB does of using a grammar checker.

That said, that website is run by scum, for scum.

In tinsy, tiny print at the very bottom of that putrid site, we get this little notice, so small it's almost impossible to read:

15. Like I said stuff comes out of the woodwork.

I wanted to post it to give posters like WVH a taste of what it feels like to have to answer to charges whether they are true or not.

Since Ron Paul was called a bigot ,racist and all that, Turnabout was fairplay.

I don't agree with McCains policies ,whether he broke under torture or not.
