Only healthy may vote ...

I am no lawyer, and I understand this election is conducted under a different set of RCW, but how does a publicly funded entity exempt the physically disabled from voting?

Only the healthy and mobile can vote in this election.

Wouldn't that violate some part of "Americans with Disabilities Act"?

Sounds like a great subject for a law suit.

At the very least they should have absentee balloting, on request, for those physically unable to get to the polling station.

My mother would vote in this election if she could do so on an absentee ballot, otherwise she is physically unable to get to a station.

So much for "progressive" policy in King County ...

1. Don't worry, it's King County. Someone will "interpret" how your mother would have voted and will cast a vote for her!

2. KC wanted over a million dollars to run the KCD election by mail. Thier entire budget is 6 million. It's been done this way for 70 years, but don't worry, the board has political appointees from the State as well as the elected members so it will not be long before they are bankrupt and cannot function at all. The County nearly refused to collect funds for them last time around, because they didn't like the funding split. Dead program walking...
